Melting Ice caps or land mass expanding.

This is a theory though not being seriously considered  as worthy of research it is sort of a contemplation. The theory is based on a physics experiment I remembered we did back in secondary school where we dropped a small stone into a graduated flask the weight of the stone can be calculated by taking into account the difference in the water level by observing the graduations on the flask. The current climate change theory suggests that global warming heats up the atmosphere and in turn melts the ice caps in the North and South Poles. This is another theory, recently I read that New Zealand is drifting closer to Australia by millimeters according to findings by geophysicists of these two countries. The finding is based by movement of the plates. But no one has come up with the theory that landmass growth can cause rise in sea level. Remember the world once thought that the earth was flat before we discovered that it was round. It is worth a research landmass growth, search it up, continental drift and the lot then disregard the irrelevant.

Happy research
