In Fiji, there is a growing sentiment and recently loud rhetoric's in the media of the new constitution having provisions for safe sex marriages. Pacifying a robust and once volatile society in this manner will never work. We accepted Christianity a few hundred years ago in the sense that it would enlighten our minds from the darkness it was in some otherwise I'll explain that later. We felt the power that came with it and still do. The Fijian society is one of a strong and magnificent nature. It is so because of our customs and tradition. When Filipo and Kelepi marries or Marica and Liku immediately the system is thrown in disarray because its a wrong program. Nothing can be produced from it. This types of behavior is nothing more then mens uncontrollable nature. The grassroots Fijians don't believe in same sex marriage, this is a lifestyle brought about by ancient western societies due to ignorance of its repercussions, I believe the Fijians won't take this lying down. Take this as a warning and respect the powers that be.
